Around the Block

So, I finished work on Monday, and I had this crazy idea of hopping on my bike when I got home and cycling around the block. Except well, it wasn't exactly "the block." It was just under three miles, and pretty darn intense. Maybe it was because I was still sore from Saturday's ride, or maybe it was the steep inclines (funny, I never noticed them in the Jeep), but it was tough.

  1. Oh. So this is a competition. I was supposed to do 10 miles today. Check my blog.

  2. Ok seriously, next time you are over I want you to have a look at my blogger account, because it will not let me follow your blog.

And no, its not a competition. It's kumate.

  3. Wow. Looking over that route with non-competitive, sympathetic eyes, that's a pretty dangerous route. No bike path, blind corners, shear drop-offs and fast traffic!

  4. I know. Maybe that's why it was so tough. I did have a kid (ok, he looked maybe 15ish) stick his head out the window and yell something like, "hell yeah, save the planet!"
